Navratri, the festival of female power. Today women are working at par with men. The social and economic gap between men and women has started to equalize. Women who make a mark in our society at such a time are certainly respected. It is our duty to felicitate women who have achieved great achievements in many fields such as politics, social cause (women's commission), economy (bank), IPS officers. Unknowingly, we have been helped by all of them, we have come in contact. So with this in mind, our club has felicitated them. Chairman Rtn. Sujit Ghodekar took the initiative and worked for this. President, Secretary and some members were present in the program. Pune People Bank has given us financial support for this activity. Women from various sector were selected for this. They were IPS Smartana Patil, Mrs. Rupali Chakankar Head Maharashtra Mahila Aayog, Dr. Revati Paithankar President Bhagini Nivedita Bank, Mrs Jyotsana Chiplunkar State level teacher for speech therapist, Play back singer Savani Shende and Dr. Vidya Yerwadekar Director Symbiosis Institutes. Another thought in this is that Rotary should reach all strata, the purpose of Rotary's work is to reach everyone.
