Midtown Cricket Karandak started in 2009. This year 8 teams from corporate played against each other in two groups on a pattern of league and knock out. The teams were: Crab & Taur, Venky's, Pikona, Naush Properties, Deccan Cold Storage, Tata Technologies, Reliable Communications and Regreen. The matches were played on Deccan Gymkhana & PYC ground on 19th, 20th, 24th, 26th & 27th Nov. 2016. The finals was played between Regreen and Crab & Taur on 27th Nov. 16. Crab & Taur won the winning team who donated the prize money to our club. After the finals, a special match between Prerna Blind Association and Celebrities was played. The celebrities played with strip on their eyes to give justice to blind players. PDG Vilas Jagtap, Madhav Borate & Deepak Shikarpur, PP Mangesh Hande and AG Makarand Tillu were present with their families for prize distribution. The funds raised from this project will be used for Dialysis patients.
